Had a customer today in Gidea Park need a lock change and also required an extra lock fitted as the door was not secure with just the one.I had to cut the for end of the door to fit the new lock case fitted a Yale superior euro cylinder with anti bump,anti snap,anti drill anti pick with ten year guarantee.
Places some satin escutcheons over the cylinders then on to cut the hole to accept the bolt.after that the customer asked me to have look to see why the door was rubbing when closing.checked it find the foot plate needed screwing down.enjoyed this job as it was something to get my teeth in to and the customer was very happy with the work.
